Here's how we do it.
Sustainability data is complex, fragmented, and constantly changing. We turn many data points into one clear score, giving you a simple way to assess and compare companies at a glance.

Sustainability and compliance can be a difficult maze to navigate. Our score estimates the sustainability risk associated with each company, making complex information easier to understand and act on.
Higher score = lower identified risk.
Not every company operates under the same conditions. The country a company operates in and the activities it performs influence its exposure to sustainability risks. We use this context to establish a baseline risk for every company.
A higher-risk context doesn't mean a company is necessarily high risk. It means there is more potential exposure, and therefore a greater need for evidence.
Certifications, policies, disclosures, and other relevant evidence can demonstrate that specific risks have been (partially) addressed. When sufficient evidence covers a risk, the identified risk decreases, and the score increases.

Based on the ESRS Social categories.

We structure each assessment across Environmental, Social, and Governance, following relevant ESRS topics and subtopics. We also assess Financial Health based on company filings, giving you a more complete view of business risk and helping you identify sustainable partners.
Together, these dimensions form the SustainScore.
